Empowering Confident Youth Disclaimer
The Empowering Confident Youth program is narrowly tailored to achieve its stated purpose, that is, to help young people achieve the type of confidence it takes to succeed.
Due to the lack of review by licensed professionals, it should not be considered a form of therapy or psychiatric medical solution, for which only a qualified medical professional should be consulted. In that regard, Empowering Confident Youth recognizes that there are other more qualified courses, programs, professional organizations and institutions to discuss issues like substance abuse prevention, gender identity, suicide prevention, self-harm, and other serious topics for which this program is not suitable.
Additionally, because of the narrow focus and brevity of the course, political and social commentary about children’s rights as individuals, including their feelings about their bodies and abilities to make decisions for themselves, is not a part of the Empowering Confident Youth program.
